The survey for all sites has been completed. As on 18.03.24, 397 towers have been commissioned covering 575 villages and 3 National Highways (NH) sites.
Uncovered Villages and National Highways of Meghalaya
The agreement was signed with M/s Bharti Hexacom Limited (M/s BHL) on 04.09.2020. The project envisages 4G-based mobile coverage by installing 878 mobile towers in 1164 uncovered villages and 11 mobile towers along national highways at a cost of Rs 726.65 crore.
