The Union Cabinet on 24.03.2023 has approved the Project for the Provision of 4G based mobile services at 1,117 locations of Border Out Posts (BOPs) of BGFs and Border Intelligence Posts (BIPs) of IB on nomination basis to BSNL. 72 additional locations were also forwarded by MHA have been added in the schemes.
