The Government has approved that for creation of infrastructure for providing mobile services on the route of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, the capital expenses and operating expenses net of revenue incurred on the project by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited each year since 2010, shall be funded by the Universal Services Obligation Fund.
BSNL has agreed to create infrastructure and provide mobile services on the route of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra.
Department of Telecommunications has agreed to disburse an amount of R.s. 6,91,05,070 to BSNL for the period 2010 to 2015 and as per provision made under Rule525 , sub-rule 2 clause III item d of the Indian Telegraph (Amendment) Rules, 2015that has come into force from 12th May 2010.
The subsidy for capital expenses and operating expenses net of revenue incurred on the project by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited each year from 2010 to 2015, shall be funded from the Universal Service Obliqation Fund.
An amount of the Rs.6,91,05,070 (Rupees Six crore ninety one lakh five thousand seventy) shall be payable as subsidy from USO Fund to BSNL fro the period 2010 to 2015.
